A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE ESSIE B. AND WILLIAM EARL GLENN FOUNDATION FOR BETTER LIVING ON THE OCCASION OF HOSTING ITS SECOND COMMUNITY FOCUSED ADVERSE CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES TRAUMA AWARENESS SYMPOSIUM AND DECLARING JUNE 21, 2021, AS ADVERSE CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES (ACES) TRAUMA AWARENESS DAY.
With the help of our friends and donors, over the years, we have been able to provide 7600 meals and 62,175+ pounds of food to needy families. Please help us continue to provide for our friends and neighbors facing hunger, and food insecurity.
October 23rd The Glenn Family Foundation held its annual Health, Wellness & Safety Tailgate. The event was held as a drive thru to accommodate social-distancing requirements due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in keeping with the Center for Disease (CDC) guidelines.
The over-arching goal of the symposium is to help increase Community awareness of Adverse Childhood Experiences that lead to Trauma. We believe its very critical that we GROW a community of individuals who are informed and can show compassion and sensitivity.
