Tomorrow marks an incredible milestone as we celebrate the 11th Annual I-HEAL Community Wellness Day in Cleveland, Mississippi! Hosted by the Essie B. & William Earl Glenn Foundation for Better Living, this highly anticipated event continues its mission to strengthen community health and resilience across the Mississippi Delta.

This annual event, open to the public and completely free of charge, serves as a bridge between healthcare providers, wellness organizations, and local residents. Over the years, I-HEAL has grown from a small initiative into a major community-driven experience that provides vital health resources and education to hundreds of families each year.

At this year’s Wellness Day, attendees can expect free health screenings for conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, vision health, and breast cancer, along with wellness education sessions, nutrition resources, and care navigation services to connect them with long-term support. Guests will also receive fresh, nutritious food, wellness materials, and information about local programs that make healthier living more accessible.

Adding even more excitement to the day, this year’s event features a raffle giveaway with prizes that include gift cards, a big-screen TV, and more. It’s our way of saying thank you to the community for showing up and committing to better health.

The I-HEAL program is a trauma-informed, intergenerational health initiative designed to help individuals and families adopt sustainable habits that reduce stress, prevent chronic illness, and promote overall wellness. By combining education, access, and engagement, I-HEAL continues to transform health outcomes across generations.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone to tomorrow’s event and celebrate another year of progress, partnership, and purpose. If you’re attending, be sure to share your photos and videos on Facebook and Instagram using #GFFMS — we’d love to see how you’re enjoying the day.

Here’s to another powerful year of healing, connection, and community. See you at Wellness Day!
